Disney’s Aladdin The Musical opens at Prince Edward Theatre THIS WEEK

The West End is buzzing with excitement for the arrival of Disney’s Aladdin The Musical, opening this week! 

Aladdin makes its debut at London’s Prince Edward Theatre on Friday 27 May, where we’ll see the classic hit film brought to life in a magical stage show.

As well as all the Academy Award-winning score we know and love from the film, new music has also been written for this stunning production.

The lead roles of Aladdin and Jasmine will be taken by rising British stars Dean John-Wilson (Here Lies Love) and Jade Ewen (In the Heights). Broadway’s Trevor Dion Nicholas will make his London stage debut as the Genie.

An extraordinary creative team is led by director and choreographer Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon). Music is by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast) with lyrics from Howard Ashman (Beauty and the Beast), Tim Rice (The Lion King) and Chad Beguelin (Elf), who also wrote the book.
