Coming to the Ambassadors Theatre in September, Dawn King’s award-winning play is a darkly comic, spell-binding drama that asks how far belief can take you.

Originally produced at the Finborough Theatre in 2011, Foxfinder won the Papatango Theatre Company new writing competition the same year; King also won the Royal National Theatre Foundation Playwright award in 2013.

This new production is directed by Rachel O’Riordan (2018 Oliver Award winner for Killogy at the Royal Court) and stars Olivier Award winner Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones’ Ramsay Bolton) as William Bloor, a foxfinder who arrives to rid a couple’s farm of a suspected fox infestation.

With England in crisis, the fields flooded and the food scarce, the fear of the red beast has gripped the land.

William Bloor arrives at Judith and Samuel Covey’s farm to investigate why the couple’s harvest has failed to meet targets – the government wants to know why, and it’s believed foxes are to blame.

But as William becomes fixated on unearthing the animals that must be responsible for the couple’s woes, he soon discovers more questions than answers…

Arriving at the Ambassadors Theatre from 6 September 2018, and marking the play’s West End premiere, Foxfinder will run for a strictly limited season until 5 January 2019.
