Dan Gillespie Sells’ brand new musical transfers to the West End.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge – who took over the role from comedian Miranda Hart earlier this year – will take his final bow next month. Taking over the iconic role will be actor and comedian Meera Syal from 27 November.
The horrendous Miss Hannigan is the owner of the orphanage where brave young Annie lives during 1930s New York. Set during The Great Depression, Annie faces a life a misery at the hands of the Miss Hannigan.
However, her luck soon changes when she’s chosen to spend a fairy tale Christmas with the famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks. Meanwhile, the spiteful Miss Hannigan hatches a plot to spoil Annie’s search for her true family.
With its Tony Award-winning book and score, including the unforgettable songs It’s The Hard-Knock Life, Easy Street and Tomorrow, this is a show you won’t want to miss.
