The side-splitting West End hit play Peter Pan Goes Wrong is returning to the capital for a limited time only this winter.

The comedy will be showing from 13 December 2019 to 5 January 2020 at the Alexandra Palace Theatre, London.

Peter Pan Goes Wrong is produced by Mischief Theatre, the team behind the award-winning The Play That Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery.

Based on the J.M. Barrie classic, the play follows the members of the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society as they battle technical hitches, mishaps and cast rivalries while attempting to tell the much-loved tale of the boy who wouldn’t grow up.

Originally debuting in 2013 at The Pleasence Theatre, London, Peter Pan Goes Wrong transferred to the West End’s Apollo Theatre for a Christmas season in 2015, returning the following year.

Universally loved by critics, the play was described as “riotously funny, an absolute must see” by WhatsOnStage in a five-star review.

British comedian legend Peter Kay is also a fan of the show, describing it as “ridiculously funny, I can’t recommend it enough.”

In 2016, Peter Pan Goes Wrong was recognised with a nomination for Best New Comedy at the prestigious Olivier Awards.

Later that year, the play was adapted into a one-hour television special. Narrated by David Suchet and filmed in front of a live audience at Pinewood Studios, the special was broadcast on BBC One on New Year’s Eve.

A global phenomenal, Mischief Theatre’s productions are currently showing in 35 countries across five continents.

Fun for the whole family, Peter Pan Goes Wrong is showing at the Alexandra Palace Theatre, London from 13 December 2019 to 5 January 2020.
