A brand new production of hit musical Saturday Night Fever is heading to the Opera House Blackpool from the 29 October 2018 for one week only.

Based on the film, the production has been adapted for the stage by Robert Stigwood and Bill Oakes.

Marking 40 years since the UK cinema release, the musical sees Saturday Night Fever reimagined into a music and dance spectacular.

The story follows Tony Manero, portrayed in the film by John Travolta, as he works towards dancing success. The show features classic Bee Gees hits such as Stayin’ Alive, How Deep Is Your Love, Night Fever, Tragedy and More Than A Woman, as well as defining 70s classics Boogie Shoes, Disco Inferno and more.

The latest stage version promises more drama and music, and exciting new choreography.

“We can’t wait to welcome the new tour of Saturday Night Fever to Blackpool this Autumn,” Opera House Blackpool announced. “The show is a fantastic addition to our 2018 season already jam packed with a range of big name shows and events.”

Saturday Night Fever joins a season that already boasts the likes of FameBeautiful: The Carole King Musical, and many more.
