Hollywood and Broadway icon Stockard Channing is set to return to London in Apologia.

Stockard Channing, known for roles in The Good Wife and West Wing, is set to return to the London stage in Apologia, by Olivier Award winner Alexi Kaye Campbell.

Kristin Miller is a firebrand liberal matriarch and eminent art historian. A birthday gathering should be a cause for celebration but the cracks in her family relationships are brought to the surface by the recent publication of her memoir. As the evening progresses questions are asked about the sacrifices she has made and about the price paid by those she loves.

Channing is also renowned for her Oscar and Golden Globe nominated role in Six Degrees of Separation, and as Rizzo is the generation defining Grease.

Apologia also marks the return of Jamie Lloyd to Trafalgar Studios, having already worked on The Ruling Class and Macbeth starring James McAvoy and his hit production with Martin Freeman of Richard III.

Alexi Kaye Campbell has already celebrated critical success with The Pride and his acclaimed plays Sunset at The Villa Thalia at the National Theatre, and The Faith Machine at the Royal Court Theatre.

Apologia is set to run at London’s Trafalgar Studios from Saturday 29 July until Saturday 18 November.

Tickets are on sale from 10AM today (19 May 2017) through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
