Winter Gardens Blackpool is hosting a very special evening, screening a sing-a-long version of the hugely popular The Greatest Showman.
The venue’s Opera House will welcome fans of the musical sensation on Saturday 25 August 2018, kicking off at 18:00.
The Greatest Showman surpassed all expectations late last year, becoming the third most successful musical theatre movie of all time.
Following release it went on to win the coveted Golden Globe award for Best Original Song, celebrating This Is Me, written by Academy Award winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The pair took home the Oscar for their work on La La Land.
Directed by Michael Gracey, The Greatest Showman stars Academy Award nominee Hugh Jackman alongside Zac Efron, fellow Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson and Zendaya.
The film follows P. T. Barnum (played by Hugh Jackman) as he rises from humble beginnings to develop the greatest show on earth.

Opera House Blackpool opened as a theatre and super cinema in 1939, before screenings returned to the venue in 2014. It now hosts one of the North West’s biggest screens.
