The cast of The War of the Worlds preview the tour

Jeff Wayne’s The War of the Worlds tour begins later this month at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, before heading around the UK throughout December.

The arena tour marks 40 years since the release of the double-album based on HG Wells dark Victorian tale and will see Jeff Wayne take on conducting duties where he’ll be joined by the nine-piece Black Smoke Band and 36-piece ULLAdubULLA Strings.

The ambitious production, which promises to break the fourth wall and be highly immersive, will star Jason Donovan, Carrie Hope Fletcher, Adam Garcia, Newton Faulkner, Nathan James and Anne-Marie Wayne.
