Hello dears,

This week a power outage in Soho caused a performance of Miss Saigon to be cancelled after the audience was plunged into darkness! Luckily it didn’t affect any other West End theatres.

Lots of shows have been announcing booking extensions recently. The Woman In Black, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia!, Kinky Boots and Thriller will all play onto into the future, proving that the London theatre scene is well and truly still alive.

Last week I went to see the West End transfer of Close To You (Burt Bacharach Reimagined) and the man himself was there to receive a standing ovation for his work. After the show he treated the audience and public in Piccadilly Circus to a rendition of Raindrops Are Falling On My Head! Luckily for us, it wasn’t raining.

Wicked welcomed it’s seven millionth audience member this week! With a new cast recently in place it doesn’t look like the witches of Oz will be going anywhere soon, other than flying to the roof of the Apollo Victoria Theatre eight times a week, that is. How many times have you seen it? Personally I’ve lost count!

Wicked on the West End

It’s a week to go until the 2015 Wilma Awards at the Hippodrome Casino. I had a rehearsal with some of the performers this week and its going to be a great afternoon! Keep your eye on my website to see the full list of winners!

Ps. Some cheeky, sneaky person has been printing their own version of my #Stagey tote bag that has been on sale. Obviously I haven’t been able to keep up with supply and demand because someone has taken it into their own hands to print a rather shoddy replica and sell it online. So be aware and don’t buy anywhere other than westendwilma.com (more stock due in soon).

Don’t forget to follow me on Twitter and like my Facebook page to keep fully updated with my crazy stagey life!
