“I went to see Rihanna with a mate and we went dressed as Riri’s posse. We had an AWESOME time.” – Camille

“Seeing Dave Chapelle at Electric Brixton was a huugeee tick off the bucket list.” – George

“The best thing I’ve seen this year in the UK (three times and counting) is In The Heights at King’s Cross Theatre. It’s the coolest, most progressive piece of musical theatre currently showing in the West End. It’s funny, touching and wonderfully intimate because it’s in such a small space. The show’s composer Lin-Manuel Miranda is incomparable. In The Heights is also an excellent primer for Miranda’s other blockbuster show, Hamilton, which I also got to see on Broadway this year; that’s coming in 2017 and will literally blow everything else in the West End out of the water. FACT.” – Matt

“Sandwiched between a weekend of mainly rock, Nas proving himself as a rap maestro at Reading Festival was a clear highlight. Few musicians have sounded both as accomplished and as a vital in 2016.” – Ben

“I watched Weezer crush it at the Brixton Academy WAY back in April 2016. I’ve seen them a few times – but this tour which borrowed heavily from their new White Album was incredible. I like that they’ve been around for years and probably could do a night at an arena, but play venues like the O2 Academy where I first saw them way back when.” – Phil

“Mine would be UFC204. Want to know why? Check out the blog post.” – James

Latitude was my first ever festival experience and I enjoyed every moment of it. I saw incredible performances by Chvrches, The Lumineers and The National, and I discovered some new bands to love (hello GoGo Penguin). But it wasn’t just the music that made Latitude so amazing. I also went to a kooky theatrical presentation about a little garden, got cracked up by comedian Al Porter, sat in on a Q&A with film critic Mark Kermode and heard a talk on gut health. Factor in yummy food, a lake you can swim in, eye-popping 3D projections on a water fountain and neon pink sheep (yep, you read that correctly) and… well, let’s just say I plan on getting tickets to Latitude again next year. – Renee

“Has to be Beyoncé at Wembley Stadium, she was fierce!” – Lucy
